We believe the way a space feels is just as important as the way it looks. That belief is what pulled us into the world of events — creating atmospheres shaped by style, individuality, and the kind of energy people remember long after the moment passes. For us, it’s about crafting spaces that invite connection, celebration, and those memories that become part of someone’s story.

Grace brings a background in retail management, customer service, and more recently upholstery — paired with a lifelong love of fashion, interiors, and anything that lets creativity take the lead. From sewing and drawing to styling and design, making beautiful things has always been second nature.

Scott brings the practical eye and calm precision that every great project needs. With experience across mechanics, engineering, business ownership, and project management, he’s the organised half of the duo — the one who makes sure every detail comes together seamlessly.

Together, we’ve shaped Event Studio from years spent living in Melbourne, renovating our home in New Plymouth, and building a life centred around creativity, problem solving, and good people. They say if you can survive a reno together, you can survive anything.

At the heart of it all, we simply love creating. And with Moss and Basil — our two Italian Greyhounds — never far from the action, we’re grateful to be doing work that feels like us.
